The Crooked House in Poland

Bagikan :
The Crooked House is an extraordinary and irregularly-shaped building in Sopot, Poland. Built in 2004, this building looks like something unreal. This 4,000 square meter house is a part of Rezydent Shopping Center in Sopot. The Crooked House is the most photographed building in Poland. The house is called 'Krzywy Domek' in Polish.

This crazy looking house was designed by the Polish architect Szotynscy Zaleski. The design came as an inspiration from the fairytale illustrations of Jan Marcin Szancer and the artwork of Per Dahlberg. According to Home Reviews:
The special impression is given by colorful stained glass entrances, stone elevation decors and windows framed with sandstone. One more peculiar of the extraordinary building is a roof of blue-green enameled shingles designed to give the impression of a dragon.

The Crooked House looks really fantastic at night when it is lighted. It really looks like a building from the fairytale. This house is a great example of extraordinary design and architecture.
