The concept of JetPack emerged from science fiction in the 1920s and became popular in the 1960s as the technology became a reality. The most common use of the jet pack has been in extra-vehicular activities for astronauts. Virtual worlds have been into our computers for many years by the virtue of technology. Now, virtual reality (VR) will be in our living rooms. The underground effort that has been an experimental fantasy for decades has become reality now. Google is prepping a pair of augmented reality glasses, which would allow users to receive, via a data connection, real-time information on their surroundings.
Contact Lenses To Alert Diabetics:
Jin Zhang, a biochemical engineering professor at the University of Western Ontario, has developed a revolutionary technology that has came into being to help the diabetic patients. He developed Contact Lenses that change color to alert diabetics of glucose level. These lenses measure blood sugar levels without drawing blood daily. It uses extremely small nanoparticles embedded into the hydrogel lenses.
