Mumbai and Karachi are the world's cheapest cities to live, according to a new survey. The Economist Intelligence Unit's worldwide cost of living index found that both the cities share the top ranking of the least expensive cities in the world. Financial capitals of India and Pakistan - Mumbai and Karachi - are followed by New Delhi, the Indian Capital city, in the list.
Mumbai is the commercial and entertainment capital of India. It is the most populous city in India, and the fourth most populous city in the world, with a total metropolitan area population of approximately 20.5 million.
Karachi is the former capital of Pakistan and country's present financial center. It is the largest city and the main seaport of the country. The city has an estimated population of 21 million people as of April 2012.
